ABOUT

Welcome to the Temu version of Call Her Daddy where I’m no Alex Cooper but after a few pints, I definitely pretend to be.

As as a late bloomer (blaming this phase on my mother and grandmother - which reminds me - which one of you suggested I rock a bob…prisonable offense) I lacked confidence and in turn thought that I possessed no sex appeal (kinda makes sense why I mimicked Agathe Christie’s writing style at 10 by killing all my characters off).

ENTER Alex Cooper. She shared stories that ranged in topic—from sex lessons to heartfelt confessions. Father Cooper nurtured a demographic of college-aged women by broaching subjects that make our parents’ skin crawl on her podcast, Call Her Daddy.

After my first heartbreak, I put pen to paper, detailing the love I harbored for my ex, as well as my disdain for comforting his qualms regarding his receding hairline. Ah, the things we accept when blinded by love--or was it the sex? I digress.

Luckily, my relationship failures revealed to me the relevance of my writing and how the written word connects me to a community of people--anonymous or not--who share my sentiments. Whether I’m writing about the coquette trend or offering up a spicy op-ed, I infuse each article with diligent research, clever comments, and an identifiable voice that any woman wants to befriend.
